Additional Advice for theĀ Canon D1120, D1150, D1170, D1180 E003 0 Error Code

    1. Turn the machine off then back on. Due to the fact its a low temperature error, this error can sometimes be resolved through simply trying again.
    2. Check the power source. Is it plugged into a power strip with other devices or a battery backup. Well, it shouldn’t. Plug the machine straight into a wall for testing purposes.
    3. Remove the fuser and check for proper connector seating.
    4. Over time the heating element can get weak. This can lead to intermittent low temperature codes. My theory if it happens once or twice a year that is acceptable. If it happens a few times in a few weeks or months then the fuser is probably going out.
    5. If all else has failed then the next step is to replace the fusing assembly.Ā Canon D1120, D1150, D1170, D1180 Fuser Removal
