The HP P3015x  LaserJet Printer is my favorite model in the P3015 series. I’ve seen quite a few of these machines and just about all of them have been handling heavy work loads. Actually more than the 5,000 monthly cycle they are rated for. So while HP puts a monthly usage at 5,ooo I would say it should be more like a 7,500 to 10,000 monthly duty cycle. At print speeds of 42 page per minute, duplexing, a paper sheet capacity of 1,100, and network ports this machine is a nice little work horse in just about any small to midsize work place with about up to 5 users. For some reason, I find these in a lot of human resource offices where it gets mild usage on average than once or twice a month used to print off large reports.

Since I’ve worked on so many of this paticular  model and have seen how well they performed I gave them a solid 4 out of 5 stars. If my program allowed it I would give them a 4.5 rating. The downfalls of this machine is the toner yield. At about 1.8 cents per copy it is equal to the M601  series but roughly a 1/2 cent more than the M602  model. Also it doesn’t have the mobile print features that many of the newer models have. Besides those two points this machine is a very well-built, durable printer. I’m always surprised at the page counts I’ve seen on the models I’ve serviced. I always ask the customers if it’s ever been serviced and they always reply no. The feed rollers obviously get worn out and need replaced but I have yet to run into one where the fuser  needs replaced because of usage. The HP P3015x  LaserJet printer is a great machine for the money and a wise investment.
