Troubleshooting Aids for the Fuser is reaching near life end on the Okidata C710 and MPS710 Series Machines
The estimated life of the, 43854901, fusing assembly is around 60,000 prints. Failure to order a replacement fuser at this time can lead to a decline in print quality and unwanted down time when the fusing assembly actually hits the end of life message. I haven’t personally seen it on this machine but I’ve seen other Okidata printer fail to work once the end of life message happens. Okidata uses an internal fuse on the fusing assembly to reset the fuser life counters on the machine. So failure to replace with a new fusing assembly could lead to the same unwanted replace fuser message.

The good news is that replacing Okidata fusing units is typically a pretty simple task. See the information below for replacement instructions.
1. Open the Top Cover
2. Push up the two blue levers on the fusing assembly and remove the unit.
