Advanced Troubleshooting Tips for the Error Code 931.00
1. Turn the machine off then back on. I have a Brother machine in our office that gets a laser scanner error once or twice a year. You turn the thing off then back on and the problem goes away. I would start getting concerned if the error happened more than once a in a month to two month period. At that point I would be looking to replace the printhead.
2. Check the connectors. Reseat as needed. Remember to unplug the machine if you are going to be taking it apart.
3. Replace the printhead.
