Description :
Hard disk drive problem The hard disk cannot be accessed.

Causes :
1. Poor contact in the connector termi- nals.
2. Defective hard disk.
3. Defective main PWB.

Solutions :
1. Check the connection of connector YC11 on the main PWB and the connector on the hard disk, and the continuity across the con- nector terminals. Repair or replace if neces- sary.
2. Run U024 (HDD formatting) without turning the power off to initialize the hard disk 1-3-11). Replace the hard disk drive and check for correct operation if the prob- lem is still detected after initialization.
