6020 Abnormally high fuser thermistor 2 temperature
Description :
The temperature of the fuser thermistor 2 detects 240?C/464?F or more continuously for 3 s.
Causes :
Shorted fuser thermistor 2.
Defective engine PWB.
Solutions :
Measure the resistance.
If it is 0 ?, replace the fuser thermistor 2.
Replace the engine PWB
99% of the time fuser related errors are caused by the fusing unit. Therefore, if you don’t fell like testing the OHMS on the thermistor then your best bet it to just order in a new fuser and replace it.
