A motor over-current signal is detected continuously for 5 seconds since the lift motor is activated.
Defective bottom plate elevation mechanism in the paper cassette.

Defective lift motor.
Defective engine PWB.
Check to see if the bottom plate can move smoothly and repair it if any problem is found.
Check if the gears rotate smoothly.
If not, grease the bushings and gears.
Check for broken gears and replace if any.

1140 Lift motor ascent error
*40/42 and 45/47 ppm printers (EUR/USA model) only
Optional bulk paper feeder’s tray top position sensor does not turn on.
Lift motor lock error occurred 3 times.

Defective harness between bulk paper feeder’s tray top position sensor and main PWB (YC6), or improper connector insertion.

If none, remedy or replace the harness.

Defective harness between bulk paper feeder’s tray bottom position sensor and main PWB (YC8), or improper connector insertion.
Defective bulk paper feeder’s main PWB.
Replace the bulk paper feeder’s tray bottom position sensor.
Reinsert the connector.
Also check for continuity within the connector harness. If none,

Also check for continuity within the connector harness.

DMOTRDYN signal does not go low within 2 s after

The temperature does not rise by 1C/ 1.8F after the fuser heater lamp has been turned on continuously for 5 s during printing.
40/42 and 45/47 ppm printers (EUR/USA model):
The temperature does not rise by 1C/ 1.8F after the fuser heater lamp has been turned on continuously for 10 s during warm-up or at standby.
Poor contact in the fuser thermistor 1 connector terminals.
Fuser thermistor 1 installed incorrectly.
Fuser heater lamp installed incorrectly.
Broken fuser heater lamp wire.
Reinsert the connector.
Check and reinstall if necessary Thermal cutout triggered.
Check for continuity.
If none, replace the thermal cutout.

6020 Abnormally high fuser thermistor 2 temperature

6030 Broken fuser thermistor 2 wire
Input from fuser thermistor 2 is less than 1 (A/D value) for more than 1 s.
Poor contact in the fuser thermistor 2 connector terminals.
Broken fuser thermistor 2 wire.
Fuser thermistor 2 installed incorrectly.
Thermal cutout triggered.
Fuser heater lamp installed incorrectly.
Broken fuser heater lamp wire.
Reinsert the connector.
Measure the resistance. If it is , replace the fuser thermistor 2.

6230 Broken fuser thermistor 1 wire

Broken fuser thermistor 1 wire.

Reinsert the connector.

6400 Zero cross signal error
