The details in the link above say a Dell fuser, this fuser also works in these Samsung models as they use the same print engine as Dell, Xerox, and Samsung models often do.

Resolving the  Samsung ML – 3470nd / 3471nd Open Heat Error

Remove the Fusing assembly. For information click on the link at the bottom of the article. Second, follow the instructions below to remove the thermostat. Third, take a volt meter and test for continuity across the thermostat. If the fuser has two, test them together then test separately. If they test ok then check the lamp. Majority of the time you will find one that one of the thermostats is stuck open. Once you find the one stuck open turn the thermostat over so the surface that rides on top of the hot roller is facing you. Take a can of air and hold it upside down. Give the top of the thermostat a blast of extremely cold air, should come out as an extreme cold liquid air, frosting the top of the thermostat. If done correctly this will close it back up. Test for continuity again. If you have continuity, clean the dampness off, then reinstall and test the machine, again. Note, if you press on the top of the thermostat you will open it. There is a leaf spring in them. When the overheat they open. When the machine cools back down they should close. In lots of cases they fail to close so this procedure is a manual reset of the thermostat. If the fuser looks worn out or if you print off the system page and you have over 80,000 prints then I would recommend replacing.
