Troubleshooting the Fuser Low Heat Error in the Samsung ML – 3560 / 3561 Printer

Several things can result in a Fuser Low Heat Error  Message. In this article I’ll cover a few of the basic troubleshooting tips from past experience and share what the service manual has to say about this specific problem.

Troubleshooting For the Low Heat Error

1. Sudden power outages can cause this problem. With the history of these machines when you get any fuser error I strongly recommend turning the machine off and let it sit 30 minutes to allow for adequate cooling. These fusers are known to melt the hot roller to the pressure roller so powering it back on while still warm might result in unwanted damage due to the warm up cycle. Turn back on.

2. Check your power source. Make sure the printer is plugged straight into a wall outlet. Avoid power strips, UPS’s, and Battery Backups. Most the time these devices don’t cause problems at first but with these machines being big heaters, plugging them into these devices results in extra strain on the printers and the power devices. This results in above average wear and can cause odd power issues like the fuser low heat error.

3.   Dirty or bent thermistor can cause the fuser low heat error. Remove the thermistor and check for build up on the surface and make sure it is gently riding on the surface of the hot roller.

2. Check whether a thermistor is open or not.
3. Heat lamp ON/OFF test
4. It could not operate due to a gear of a fuser is melted.
