The HP laserjet 4250, 4300, 4350’s are great machines. With their fast speeds, high volume printing, and little need for maintenance they should be around for quite a bit longer. One problem that I’ve been seeing more service request on with the HP laserjet 4250, 4300, and 4350 is the 59.4 error message. With more and more companies trying everything to save money they are going to third-party or rebuilt cartridges. Not all toner cartridges are built the same. Some do a really good job and replace as many parts as possible. Other companies do the bare minimum and just add toner. One thing most tend to do is add more toner than OEM specifications so they can state that there cartridge will last longer. Adding too much toner,  not replacing all the seals, or filling with a cheap low-grade toner  can lead to cartridge binding resulting in the 59.4 error message on the HP laserjet 4250, 4300, and 4350.
