However, if the machine doesn’t see a whole lot of usage, the fusers tend to not make it their estimated fuser life. Fuser Removal Procedure – 2H093030, 302K593061, 302K593060, 302H093030
Follow the procedure below to check or replace the fuser unit.
Note : Turn the power off and unplug the power cord from the wall before performing Kyocera TASKalfa 300i fuser replacement. Also, the fuser is extremely hot. Therefore, you might want to wait 10 to 20 minutes before removing and avoid touching the hot roller or pressure roller.
1. Open the front cover.
2. Remove the clip holder.
3. Remove two screws and remove front left cover.
4. Open the left cover 1.
5. Remove two screws and remove the left cover hook.
6. Remove the screw of the front left middle cover.
7. Remove the front left middle cover.
8. Remove three connectors.
9. Remove the screw and remove the fuser unit.
10. Check or replace the fuser unit and install the unit.
11. Refit all the removed parts.
