Description :
Paper feed/developing motor BK error After the motor drive ON signal is output and 1 s elapses, the rated speed reach signal is not input continuously for 2 s.
Causes :
1. Poor contact in the connector termi- nals.
2. Defective drive transmission sys- tem.
3. Defective engine PWB.
4. Defective paper feed/developing motor BK.

Solutions :
1. Check the connection of connector YC8 on the engine PWB and the connector on the paper feed/developing motor BK, and the continuity across the connector terminals. Repair or replace if necessary.
2. Check if the rollers and gears rotate smoothly. If not, grease the bushings and gears. Check for broken gears and replace if any.
3. Run maintenance item U030 and check if YC8-27 (remote signal) on the engine PWB goes low. If not, replace the engine PWB
4. Run maintenance item U030 and check if the paper feed/developing motor BK oper- ates when YC8-27 (remote signal) on the engine PWB goes low. If not, replace the paper feed/developing motor BK.
