Additional Advice on the Ricoh SP4110, SP4210, SP4310 SC543 Fuser ErrorÂ
Each time the machine reports an Fuser Fault the code needs to be reset in service mode.
- Reset the error and see if the problem continues. Given the fact it was an overheat error I would recommend allowing the fuser to cool down at least 15 to 20 minutes before attempting to reset. Resetting while the fuser is still overheated could cause additional problems.

- If the problem goes away, great. You still might want to remove the fuser and check the thermistor and clean if needed.
- Check for proper ventilation and that the operating environment meets equipment specifications. I’ve seen these run in pretty bad locations but it’s still something to consider.
- Verify paper settings and fuser settings match what is being fed through the machine.
