The HP LaserJet Enterprise M606, M605, M604 50.10 Fuser Error happens when thermistor 2 senses a low temperature condition for x amount of time. Sometimes this can be an easy fix, other times it might require replacement of the fusing assembly. Description : Low temperature thermistor 2.
Recommended action
1. Reinstall the fuser. Check the connector (J128) between the fuser and the printer. If it is damaged, replace the fuser.
2. Reconnect the connector (J62) on the low-voltage power supply PCA.
3. If the error persists, replace the power supply unit.
My Troubleshooting Advice for the HP LaserJet Enterprise M606, M605, M604 50.10 Fuser Error
- Turn the machine off then back on. Low temperature errors can happen for a number of accidental reasons. Lightening storms, windy days, sudden losses of power are all perfect examples.
- Check the power source. No Battery Backups and fully loaded Power Strips. Old Buildings. Other large devices on same circuit. Space heaters, other laser printers, refrigerators.
- Underneath air conditioner vent, or blowing out inside of machine with canned air while on.
- Remove fuser and check connectors going into the heating element.
- Replace the fuser.
