I don’t really have a lot to say about the  Lexmark T644, T642, T640 Error Code 932.00. Another one of those printhead / laser scanner assembly errors. Additional Repair Advice

1. Turn the machine off then back on. This error can be related to sudden movement while the machine is printing. Maybe someone was adding paper and shut the cassette tray to hard. Maybe someone had a drink spill and quickly moved the machine. Whatever, the cause, sudden movement of the machine will printing can cause this. Heck even a lightening strike near by or other sudden interruptions of power can cause this error.

2. Did you leave your machine sit out in the cold overnight or in a storage area. You might see this error on a machine that is not up to room temperature. Let the machine sit 2 to 3 hours before use if it has been in extreme cold conditions.

3. Check your cables like mentioned above. Listen for odd noises. If you have a printhead going out they can become extremely noisy has they get up to speed before printing.

4. Replace the Printhead.
