Advice for the CM4540 50.2 Fuser Error
1. Turn the machine off then back on, reseat the fuser.
2. Check the power source. No battery back up and/or power strips. Plug the machine straight into a wall outlet.
3. Check for paper wrapped in the fuser, and check your fuser / paper settings.
4. If you are bringing the machine from outside and it is cold let it sit 2 to 4 hours to get to room temperature.
5. Remove the fuser and visibly inspect the unit, make sure all the connectors are fully seated. Especially the two main ones on either side of the heating element.
6. If you just replaced the fuser make sure you have the right voltage fuser for your machine.
