Instructions for the  Lexmark Optra T640, T642, T644 Fuser Removal Â
Below you will find the instructions for the  Lexmark Optra T640, T642, T644 Fuser Removal along with buying options. I chose this fuser because of the price and the detailed description. Read the paragraph below for additional details.
Alright, the estimated fuser life on these machines is rated at 300,000. I find that majority of third party or rebuild fusers struggle to reach this number. I typically stay away from any Lexmark fuser that says refurbished. Their are companies making “OEM quality fusers” or you have Lexmark OEM fusers. I typically buy the OEM quality fusers and understand that they will probably last between 150,000 – 300,000 prints. Rebuilds tend to last to 100,000 on a good day, most are lucky to hit 150,000. Not all fusers are the same and neither are the companies. I’m just speaking from my own personal experience.
