The Xerox Phaser 3600 Engine Low Heat Error either means the machine experienced a low heat condition at an idle or printing mode. In this article we will talk about a few things that can cause it and how to go about performing some diagnostic tips and buying options if you decide you need a new fusing assembly.

Troubleshooting Tips for the 3600 Engine Low Heat Error

1. Check the power source and make sure the unit is plugged straight into a wall outlet.

2. Turn the power off then back on.

Warning : Allow 15 to 30 minutes to allow for cooling.

3. Remove the fusing unit. Click on the link at the end of the article for removal instructions. Remove the two screws on either side and split the unit in half. Remove the thermistors in the picture at the bottom of the article and clean off and dirt or debris you find. These sensors measure the heat going across the hot roller. If there is dirt and debris between the surface of the thermistor and hot roller then the machine will read a low heat error.
