Troubleshooting Aids for the C0150 Error on the Copystar CS-1815
The C0150 Error on the Copystar 1815 series machines is related to a Backup memory read write problem on the engine control board. The read and write information doesn’t match. Not a very common problem on these machines. Check below for diagnostic aids and repair advice.
Root Cause
The error is a result of a defective backup RAM or engine control board.
Recommended Solution
1. Turn the machine off, unplug, let it sit 15 to 20 minutes then plug back in and turn on.
2. Replace the engine control board
Personally, I’m not a big fan of these Copystar and Kyocera models. However, I have listed the Kyocera replacement models along with a few Brother models that I’ve had success with.
