Yeah, the title is a little misleading. There isn’t really a whole lot of troubleshooting for this error. The Print unable 22 message is relate to a problem with the magenta laser diode in the laser scanner unit. In this article I’ll give you the details as far as the service manual is concerned. Besides that there really isn’t much you can do except to start replacing parts.
1. Turn the Machine off then back on.
2. Check power source. Make sure plugged straight into wall outlet.
3. Reseat laser scanner assembly wire harness and connectors.
4. Replace the Laser Scanner Assembly.
5. Replace the Engine Board.
