Replacment Instructions Samsung SCX – 4824, 4826, 4828 Pick up Roller

One of the main problems I see with these machines is feed issues. Either it’s jamming from the tray or multiple feeding. Both of these problems can usually be quickly resolved by replacing the pick up roller and friction Pad. The pick up rollers like to fall apart on these machines over time. Lots of times when I pull them out the rubber is all cracked and in extreme cases falling off. That can lead to lots of feed issues. Also I get lots of calls for multiple feeding. This is caused by the rubber drying out and wearing down of the surface of the friction pad. When this happens the machine likes to pick up 2 to 5 pages at a time and try feeding it through the machine. Both these parts can lead to JAM 0 , Jam 1, Jam 2, and other issues. Below is the pick up roller replacement instructions to help you quickly repair these problems.

  1. Do you have detailed instructions on where to find and how to remove and replace the separation pad? I understand the pickup roller instructions but the photo of the separation pad doesn’t tell me anything about location or how to replace?
