Other known fusing problems associated  are ripped fixing films that can cause smeared print, noise, and jamming. Ghosting issues happen on the edges of  the paper as the protective coating on the fixing films breaks down. Typically happening at 100,000 to 150,000 prints. Also feeding lots of envelopes through these machines can also result in a line running down the midde of the page just left of the center as the edge of the envelope breaks down the surface on the fixing film in this specific area.
