HP Color LaserJet CP3525 Printer 50.1 Fuser Error

Troubleshooting the 50.1 Fuser Error on the CP3525 Printer

The 50.1 fuser error in the HP laserjet  CP3525 Printer is related to a low temperature reading in the fusing assembly, HP LASERJET  CP3525, 110V  FUSER  KIT CE484A . Not really a whole lot of troubleshooting involved in this error but I’ll attempt to walk you through a few steps before you go throw in the towel and purchase a new fusing assembly.

1. Turn the machine off then back on. If the fusing assembly is having issues getting to the correct operating temperature sometimes this procedure will allow more time for it to reach its operating temperature.

2. Check your power source. Make sure the printer is plugged straight into a wall outlet and not a power strip with other devices. Also make sure that it is not plugged into a battery backup or UPS. I’ve seen machines plugged in this way and it can ruin the printers power supply and causes the battery in the back up to prematurely go bad.

3. Make sure no other large heating devices like coffee maker, space heater, or copier is plugged into same circuit. Not usually a big issue in modern built building but can become more of a source for problems in older buildings.

4. Turn the machine off, unplug it, let it sit 20 to 30 minutes, then plug back in and try again.

5. Replace Fuser.

Alright, hopefully the above information has helped you resolve the 50.1 fuser error in your HP Color LaserJet  CP3525 printer. Majority of the time I see the 50.1 fuser error it is not a problem that tends to go away on its own. You might be able to turn it off then back on to get it functioning again but within a short while the 50.1 fuser probably will show back up.
